David H. Litter Distinguished Service Award
This Award bestows the highest singular honor based upon the service to our Association and the Paint and Coatings Industry. Based upon dedication to the responsibilities of both over the years, the individual receiving this Award has earned the sincere esteem of the Officers, the Board of Directors and his fellow members of the Association. The Award expresses gratitude for the valuable contributions of the recipient to the wellbeing of the Association and the Industry.
President’s Achievement Award
This Award recognizes outstanding service, dedication and loyalty to the Association.
Pioneer Award
Recognition for twenty-five, forty and fifty years of contributions by the recipient to the advancement of the Protective Coatings Industry.
Helene M. Senker Memorial Scholarship Award
The Metropolitan New York Paint and Coatings Association is now accepting applications for consideration in the selection of a winner of the 2011 scholarship named in memory of Helene M. Senker.
The competition is open to any high school senior either of whose parent or guardian is employed by a member company in the geographic area that the Association serves.
One $1,000.00 one-time scholarship will be awarded to an eligible student in May, 2011.
The deadline for application is April 15, 2011. Each candidate is required to submit the following:
1. Academic and extracurricular record through the first semester of the senior year.
2. Copy of SAT Scores.
3. Letter of recommendation from principal or guidance counselor.
4. Original essay limited to 100 words or less on "Why I Want A College Education."
